There are so many member perks! Like getting your name, or your business name, out in our community. We have a member directory on our website. We give back to our community every month through the Displaced Homemakers Program. We have monthly luncheons, evening socials, and a book club as well! Check out gawn.org for more details!

Communication shapes our relationships with clients, colleagues, and collaborators. Yet many of our communication patterns operate on autopilot, especially when we are under pressure. In this interactive session, Stacey introduces the Leadership Compass, a practical framework rooted in emotional intelligence and insights from the Enneagram. Participants will explore how Interaction Styles influence how we pursue what we want and how Conflict Styles shape our responses when things don’t go our way.
Through discussion and reflection, attendees will gain greater awareness of their own communication tendencies and learn how to recognize and respond more effectively to different styles in others. Participants will walk away with practical tools to:
• Strengthen self-awareness and emotional intelligence
• Communicate with greater clarity and intention
• Build trust and stronger professional relationships
• Navigate differences with curiosity, compassion, and confidence
Whether leading a team, growing a business, or expanding a professional network, the Leadership Compass provides a simple and memorable way to navigate conversations and relationships with greater intention.

We are so grateful for .branch.inn for giving us the space for our luncheons and only charging for food!!! They always have a nice selection of tastiness. It definitely helps when you register early so that they have enough food and seats for everyone! Register now for the June meeting, the speaker will be amazing and informative.

Our Spotlight Speaker for June will be Kaylae Behan, owner of Wrap Theory. She will have two minutes to share her story. Winning Spotlight Speaker is one of the many perks of being a GAWN member.

Here’s a preview about Kaylae-
I have lived in Gainesville for the past 10 years, after originally moving here for college. I quickly fell in love with the community and knew it was where I wanted to build my home and future.
My professional journey began right out of high school at a wrap company in Ocala, where I managed front-of-house operations. After moving to Gainesville, I transitioned into healthcare administration at a skilled nursing facility, where I grew into leadership roles such as Staffing Director and Accounts Payable Director. Those experiences helped shape my skills in leadership, organization, communication, marketing, and workflow management.
Today, I own Wrap Theory, a full-service wrap and graphics company specializing in design, print, and installation, all done in-house. We are proud to be a 3M Preferred Installer and are working toward becoming a 3M Approved shop in Gainesville. Our team values quality workmanship, continued education, and contributing to the growth of our industry.
One of the things I appreciate most about GAWN is the networking, encouragement, and community support it provides. For new business owners, I believe it is important to keep learning, stay open to new ideas, and set meaningful goals.

Well, these are the last of the thanks (for now 😉). We are so appreciative of our members, our community, and our guests.
