Engineering is so much more…It’s looking at a toy and realizing that a child may not be able to press the tiny button that makes it work, then figuring out how to change that.
It’s taking what you know about design, electronics, problem solving, and iteration and using it to make something more accessible.
It’s also about teaching someone else how to help, too. Our students don’t just adapt toys. They share what they’ve learned, teach others how and why these adaptations work, and help more people see that engineering can be a tool for inclusion.
The best part of engineering isn’t just what you build. It’s who gets to be included because you built it differently. 💙🌊
