da, EFNEP is an integral part of the University of Florida IFAS Extension’s Family and Consumer Sciences and 4H Youth Programs. EFNEP empowers participants to adopt healthy lifestyle practices. For both adults and youth, classes are learner-centered with fun activities focused on developing healthy new skills and exercises. Lessons are designed to build upon participants’ strengths and past experience to encourage and support optimal learning. Throughout a series of lessons delivered in small groups, EFNEP focus on food-related practices to help participants achieve personal and family wellness. UF/IFAS Extension EFNEP intends to educate, inform and provide updated information on EFNEP’s activities and to support and promote EFNEP's objectives for these activities through its social media site.
