meeting there on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 7-8PM.
(Past the Riverside Military Academy and Riverside Water Treatment Plant on Riverside Drive)
There are about 100 parking spaces in 2 lower parking lots, and two flights of steps to access the building. People that don't like to use stairs can park in the 25-space parking lot and move up the road to access the building. There are 3 handicap parking spaces next to the building and 4 more on the access road that circles the building between the two flights of stairs.
If you're Disabled Veteran (with any level of VA disability rating), and not a DAV member, you are invited to attend a meeting, apply for membership in DAV and Chapter 17 and become a resource for Veterans!
Membership is open to any veteran wounded, gassed, injured (to any degree) or disabled in the line of duty during time of war and to persons who have been awarded expeditionary or campaign medals. Refer to the DAV Membership Eligibility section of the DAV Membership application for complete details.

If you're not a Disabled Veteran, but still interested in supporting the Chapter's activities to help make a difference. send an e-mail to [email protected] and ask about joining the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA). Since 1922 the DAVA has partnered with the DAV parent organization in their mission of service to disabled veterans and their families. DAVA membership allows family members of disabled veterans and others with an interest in supporting the Chapter's activities to help make a difference.
You are welcome to come to a meeting as a visitor to see your local DAV Chapter in action and ask any questions about the Chapter and the National DAV that you might have.
