Good morning Gators,

ΦΑΔ and Virgil Hawkins are teaming up to bring our annual the Pre Law Day and Admissions Panel!

This year, we will be featuring 20 schools from across the nation tomorrow from 7-9 PM in Pugh Hall.

We will have a tabling session from 7-8 PM followed by a panel of 12 schools who will answer a short series of questions.

The schools attending are the following:
UF, FSU, American, GSU, Baylor, BU, Tulane, UCLA, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Emory, Miami, Stetson, Duke, BC, UPenn, Bama, GW, UGA and UT.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about law schools and ask any questions you may have. Hope to see you there!

Elections will be held next Wednesday, April 15th at 6:45pm in Matherly (either 105 or 108). Comment below if interested in running or position descriptions!

Hey guys, instead of having the Blueprint LSAT meeting this Wednesday, we are partnering with them for a campus-wide event on March 26th!! Tons of prizes, offers, and food will be available. Please comment below if you are interested in helping VHPS and Blueprint!!

Hey Gators, hope everyone had a great spring break!! We have the Tallahassee info meeting this Wednesday at 6:45pm in Matherly 105. We will be going over the itinerary as well as discussing all of the carpool/parking/location details so please be in attendance! We have 15 people signed up but a few were "maybes" so please comment below if you're 100% attending. It's important to attend the meeting as well so we can give the court and FSU a final Head count.

Hey guys, there is NO MEETING TONIGHT! Our speaker's schedule has switched around a little so ours has too as well.

So here is the schedule for the next month:
Feb 18- No meeting
Feb 25- No meeting
March 4- SPRING BREAK
March 11- Information meeting about Tallahassee trip
March 13 (Friday)- Tallahassee trip
March 18- Blueprint LSAT

Hope everyone is having a good Monday! Thank you to all who came out last Wednesday to hear Mrs. Angie Chesser speak about her journey through law school and her days at the SAO. For those who want to contact her, her email address is [email protected].

Also, we briefly talked about Tallahassee details. Here is a tentative schedule of March 13th:
6:45am- Leave Gainesville
9am- Jury selection with Judge Wheeler
11:30am- Lunch break
1pm- Tour of FSU Law School
3pm- *optional* tour of the Florida Supreme Court
4pm- Head back to Gainesville

We have a meeting this Wednesday, February 4th in Matherly 105 at 6:45pm! We will hear from Mrs. Angie Chesser, the Alachua County Teen Court coordinator who also worked as a criminal prosecutor after graduating from UF Law. We will also discuss the details of our Tallahassee trip. Let's try and pack the room!
