This week, the Santa Fe College Foundation and President Dr. Paul Broadie II were honored to welcome back GW and LTC Jay Robinson to campus.

Through their generous support of the Santa Fe College Veterans Scholarship Program, the Robinson family continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our student veterans, helping them pursue their educational goals and build brighter futures.

The Robinson family has long been a dedicated champion of veterans at Santa Fe College and throughout our community. Their unwavering commitment to those who have served is an inspiring example of the power of philanthropy.

Santa Fe College and the Santa Fe College Foundation was honored to celebrate our Veterans Award Luncheon & Award Ceremony, recognizing the remarkable student veterans who have answered the call to serve our nation and are now pursuing their educational goals at Santa Fe College.

Through the generosity of our donors and community partners, these awards help bridge the transition from military service to academic success—removing financial barriers and opening doors to new opportunities. Every award represents not only an investment in a student’s future but also a heartfelt expression of gratitude for their service.

Retired Lieutenant General John Le Moyne shared a powerful reminder of why this program matters:

“Education and service are two of the greatest investments we can make and you each have done both.”

To our award recipients, donors, sponsors, and supporters—thank you for making a lasting impact. Together, we continue building the bridge from boots to books, ensuring those who have served our nation have the support they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Today marks an exciting milestone for Santa Fe College as we officially broke ground on the Hitchcock Family Clubhouse!

This transformational project will provide our baseball and softball student-athletes with dedicated locker rooms, training space, team meeting areas, and facilities that enhance both the student-athlete experience and game-day environment. For many of our athletes, it means no longer preparing for competition from their cars—it means having a place to call their own.

We are deeply grateful to the Hitchcock family for their extraordinary generosity and vision. Their investment is more than a building—it is an investment in our students, our athletic programs, and the future of Santa Fe College.

Projects like this are possible because of the generosity of donors who believe in creating opportunities that transform lives. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting new chapter. We can’t wait to see the Hitchcock Family Clubhouse come to life!
