Toastmasters Area 70, District 84 Area 70 covers six chartered Toastmasters clubs in the Gainesville, Florida area. Please see the list of our clubs under the Products section, below.

Area 70 (formerly Area 60 up until July 2017) covers the six Toastmasters International Clubs in Gainesville, Florida. It is located in Division G of District 84

Most Toastmasters meetings are comprised of approximately 15-20 people who meet weekly for approximately an hour. Participants practice and learn speaking and leadership skills by filling a meeting role. These roles include delivering a prepared speech or speaking extemporaneously to serving as ah-counter, timer, evaluator, or grammarian. There is no instructor; instead, each speech and meeting is evaluated by a member in a constructive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved. You learn and develop at your own pace in a supportive (and fun!) environment.
