A little care goes a long way—and this Saturday, our community showed up for local veterans and the pets they love. 💙🐾

Thanks to a generous grant from Subaru of Gainesville and the ASPCA, our event provided free veterinary care for 34 pets—31 dogs and 3 cats!

Every pet received an exam, and our team administered 87 vaccines and performed 24 heartworm tests. Two dogs tested positive for heartworms and will be receiving treatment, giving their families a path forward with the care they need.

Our partners helped make the day special:
🐾 Scenthound provided free nail trims.
🇺🇸 Florida Legal Services, Inc. shared helpful information with our veterans.
🎶 MARC Radio brought the music!

We also raffled off BarkBox kits packed with great prizes, and every pet went home with a Subaru squeaky toy.

We’re so grateful to Subaru of Gainesville, the ASPCA, our community partners, and our dedicated staff and volunteers for making this day possible.

To the veterans who joined us: thank you for your service. It was a privilege to care for your pets! ❤️

A big thank you to Coterie Market for hosting our fundraiser, and to Samm with Painting with a Pit for the wonderful instruction and a fun evening! 🎨🐾

Thank you as well to everyone who came out, painted with us, and supported St Francis Veterinary Care. Together, you helped raise over $900 for the clinic!

There was some serious artistic talent in the room — we may have a few masterpieces on our hands. 😂🎨

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the evening a success. 💙
