Gainesville Christmas Parade Invitation to the community to participate in the Gainesville, MO Christmas Parade and Festivities. Inviting one and all to be in the Christmas Parade.

Children can walk with their dog, dress up as a Christmas Gift or Card. Could dress as their favorite Character! They can ride their bikes, add lights and glittler, anything goes...only requirement is to have fun, don't get stressed, just enjoy! Adults can do the same...families can create multi generational floats on haywagons pulled by horses or mules or Grandpa's old tractor! Represent your bus

iness by driving your business vehicle decorated or not. We would love all of the people who play instruments who could form a brass or percussion band to come on down too! Lets make this a giant street party of all ages, shapes, sizes and colors of everything! Let's make some noise, bright lights, shinny things & put the party on the mind of everyone who loves to make memories!

This wonderful float was a standout for the Gainesville Christmas Parade last year! Join in the fun this year by building a family float in the back of "Dad's Pick up" or have Grandpa pull a wagon with his tractor, pile on some hay & quilts and have a singing float with your best friends! You could have a group of "Paul Bunyan Look Alikes" with Christmas trees on their shoulders! Your Sunday School Class, your dirt road neighbors, How about all of the "Century Farms of Ozark County - (Reynolds Family) . A percussion band or kazoos! It is a time for everyone to get involved and enjoy our historic Gainesville Square!

Hoping that all of you had a beautiful Christmas Day with your family and or friends! Sometimes Holidays don't hold what we would like or plan. Difficult to change your mind to just loving the day for the meaning and not all of the perceived expectations of our culture. So if you were part of a full house of people or a simple carryout dinner for one or two, it is about the birth of Jesus & giving your heart to Him. Thank you for helping Gainesville celebrate with our traditional Christmas Parade. Please make plans to create a family float, invite all of your immediate and extended family to attend. If a float isn't feasible, get together and walk, pull wagons or ride your bikes. It will be a memory none of you will forget!
