Women in Nuclear Gator Chapter Women In Nuclear (WIN) Gator is the University of Florida chapter of U.S. WIN. WIN Gator is established in September 2012 and open to all UF students. The U.S.

Women in Nuclear organization was established in May 1999 with the following strategic objectives:

- To support an environment in nuclear energy and nuclear technologies in which women and men are able to succeed
- To provide a network through which the women and men in these fields can further their professional development
- To provide an organized association through which the public is inform

ed about nuclear energy and nuclear technologies. U.S. Women in Nuclear is the premier network of over 5000 women and men who work in nuclear- and radiation-related fields around the country. WIN members may participate in local chapters, regional organizations and the national organization. Chapters may be organized based on company affiliation or geographic region. In addition, U.S. WIN is an affiliate of the Women in Nuclear Global organization (WiN Global). The WiN Global organization is made up of more than 2,500 members in 68 countries.
