Earth Day 2024 was enjoyed by many at Cuscowilla Nature and Retreat
Center. The Edible Orchard was planted in the new Camp Garden, the climbing wall was climbed, arrows were shot, fish were fished, and the Blackwater Swamp Boardwalk was explored.

Thanks to our community partners who provided fun and educational programming. Thanks to the musicians who jammed all morning. Thanks to Lady Bugs and Arctic Ice Food Trucks who kept us fed and hydrated on a hot day. And thanks to the volunteers who made the activities possible.

Join us next year for Earth Day 2025 on April 19, 2025. Meanwhile, enjoy your favorite park, Cuscowilla Nature and Retreat Center.

Thanks to the UF Pre-Dental Society ( - Instagram)) for volunteering with the Friends of Cuscowilla at the Primitive Camping area at Cuscowilla. Volunteers removed temporary fencing, prepped the site, and prepared the area for seeding. They also helped demolish the old brick oven to open up the pavilion for picnic tables.
Many Thanks!
