An A Cappella Lower Voice Singing Chorus with four-part close harmony singing in the Barbershop style. We are the chorus of the Gainesville, FL Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (barbershop.org). We pride ourselves in quality singing and performing throughout the Gainesville community. rst meeting was held at PK Yonge School on April 12, 1972. We were licensed as a chapter of SPEBSQSA in December 1972, and received our charter as the Gainesville, FL Chapter on March 31, 1973. Over the years, the chorus has been directed by Stan Harris, Jim Northrup, Bill Billings, Mike Lotzkar, Rob Lotzkar, Mark Hildebrand, Dave Jacobs, Richard Rowland, and Dick Moss.
