The Gainesville Woman’s Club Entertainment Committee officially made a Run for the Roses at our Kentucky Derby social at Raise Your Glass for an afternoon of fun, fascinators, and friendly competition. Derby fashion was the focus of the day from DIY masterpieces to vintage Churchill Downs classics. The main event happened in the parking lot, where we had a high-stakes trivia horse race. Thank you to Daisy and her crew for taking such good care of us and to everyone who came out to mingle with our newest members.

Faye Gaston and Karen Scarborough attended the April 21 Alachua County School Board meeting to present a check for $9,000 to Kelley Kostamo and Landon Strack for Camp Crystal scholarships. Funds were raised at the 2025 Festival of Trees event.
