💚 **Planning to volunteer at Westwood this year?** 🌪️

Just a quick reminder that **volunteer applications need to be completed each new school year** through Alachua County Public Schools.

Even if you were an approved volunteer last year, you’ll need to submit a new application for the 2026–2027 school year.

It’s a good idea to get it done now so you’re ready when volunteer opportunities come up throughout the year!

All the hours, late nights, and burned fingertips from hot glue guns were absolutely worth it! 🎬✨

The Westwood Middle School Class of 2026 went out in style at A Night in the Spotlight! The energy was incredible, the dance floor was packed, and the memories made will last a lifetime.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers, families, and community sponsors. This event would not have been possible without your generosity and support.

Special thanks to Studio32 Orthodontics for sponsoring our photo booth, it was a huge hit with the students! Thank you to Angel Cakes for the most beautiful (and delicious!) cupcakes. And a big shoutout to our very own Mrs. Brown for creating the stunning balloon display that helped transform the venue.

To every parent who purchased items, donated gift cards, contributed financially, volunteered their time, or helped pick up supplies, we appreciate you more than you know!

And of course, thank you to DJ E-LO for keeping the kids on the dance floor all night long!

The Class of 2026 deserved a night to remember, and thanks to this amazing community, that’s exactly what they got. 🎥⭐🏆

The cupcakes were absolutely beautiful and some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We are so grateful for your generosity and support of our students.
