We are scholars, scientists, teachers, librarians, engineers, and artists. We are tenured, tenure track and non-tenure track. We believe that a legally-binding collective bargaining agreement is the best way to ensure that we can do the work we love. ‼️ Show up on January 8 at 9am ‼️

Here’s why it matters.

The UFF-UF impasse hearing is about two things that go to the heart of faculty work at UF:
1️⃣ who decides post-tenure review standards
2️⃣ whether faculty have neutral judgment when disputes arise—or if administrators control the entire process.

The ruling from the hearing isn’t binding, which means faculty presence is one of the few ways to apply real pressure. A packed room sends a message to the Board, the Special Magistrate, and each other that shared governance and academic freedom matter here.

✦ 3.0% merit raise pool for higher ed faculty
✦ $145,466 raise pool for PK Yonge faculty
