The purpose of the grant is to work with residents and neighborhood organizations to create a plan for improving the quality of life for residents of GHA's Pine Meadows and Lake Terrace, and the Greater Duval Heights and North Lincoln Heights communities. The Choice Neighborhoods Initiative is focused on three core goals:
🏠Housing: The Plan explores the possibility of replacing Pine Meadows and La
ke Terrace's current homes with high-quality affordable housing, and building new housing that creates a better mix of affordable options throughout the neighborhood.
🧑🏿🦱People: The Plan connects partners in the city and neighborhood to fill gaps in existing programs and services to ensure residents have access to a good education, affordable childcare, healthy food, safe places to play, and quality job opportunities.
