Every child deserves to feel safe enough to tell the truth, and that safety is built long before it is ever needed.

Ask about the apps they use, the people they talk to, and what makes them feel uncomfortable. Keep devices in shared spaces, set clear boundaries around screen time, and remind your child, as often as it takes, that they will never be in trouble for telling you the truth.

When children feel heard at home, they are far more likely to come to you when something does not feel right.
