Dawn Beachy, 70, a Gainesville native, spearheaded the project in hopes of educating people about the history of racial terror in Alachua County.

Meeting starts at 7:00 pm with pre-meeting social and fabric swap beginning at 6:30 pm.

We’ll be discussing our participation in the Quilt Trail, upcoming officer elections, showing off/soliciting help on our ice-dye stars, and planning our Holiday party.

Eileen will be leading our “Scandinavian Star” workshop. Check your email for details and don’t forget to bring your prepped fabric strips.
