We are always looking for new players and any kids, 5-18, who are comfortable being in a pool are welcome to join! Gator Water Polo was founded in early 2013 by Coaches John Trimble and David Huelsman with the goal of bringing water polo

to Gainesville, FL. Gator Water Polo was founded on the belief that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover the same love for water polo John and David share. With that in mind, all coaches and staff are volunteers to keep costs as low as possible and scholarships are available for those who qualify. What an incredible day for water polo in Gainesville! 🧡💙

A huge **THANK YOU** to everyone who came out to support our first Gator Water Polo Masters home event. To **Club Seminole Masters**, thank you for making the trip to Gainesville and bringing great competition, sportsmanship, and energy to the pool. We truly appreciate your partnership and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Thank you to all of the families and young athletes who participated in our **Youth New to Water Polo Clinic**. Seeing so many kids jump in, try something new, and fall in love with the sport is exactly why we do this.

And to all of the parents, spectators, former players, and community members who filled the stands and cheered throughout the day—thank you. Your support helps grow the game of water polo right here in North Central Florida.

Today wasn’t just about the final score. It was about building a community, creating opportunities for the next generation, and showing that water polo is alive and growing in Gainesville.

We can’t wait to do it again.
