IPR was well represented at the Ragan Internal Communications Conference in Seattle. 🎤

Our Communications & Outreach Manager Brittany Higginbotham moderated a panel at Microsoft headquarters featuring two IPR NEXT members and one IPR ELEVATE member.

The session, “Cross-Generational Mentorship: What Every Career Stage Can Teach,” explored how employees across generations can learn from one another and build a stronger workplace through mentorship and reverse mentoring.

Highlights from the 2026 IPR ELEVATE Retreat in Chicago ✨📷

We brought our IPR ELEVATE members together for our annual members-only retreat, with conversations on leadership, career growth, AI, and the evolving role of communications.

A great morning of research and conversation in Chicago! 🏙️

We brought communications professionals together yesterday for an IPR Regional Event. A big thank you to Diana Littman and MSL U.S. for hosting us.

Matt Ragas, Ph.D., of DePaul University shared findings from his new research on board readiness among senior communications leaders, including the skills needed for board service, barriers they face, and opportunities to pursue board roles.

IPR Trustee Brett Ludwig of Lehigh University then led a roundtable discussion, giving attendees a chance to exchange perspectives on the challenges and trends they’re seeing across the profession.

We brought our IPR NEXT members together in Chicago for our annual retreat, with conversations on employee experience, industry disruption, AI, career growth, leadership, and more.

We gathered in Seattle for our Fall IPR Board Meeting + Trustee Retreat! 🏔️☀️

The agenda combined work with a little fun, including a productive Board meeting, research presentations and discussions, and time to connect with fellow Trustees.

We also explored the city with a food and culture tour at Pike Place Market and a walking tour led by Tina Bobe McCorkindale and Cynara Lilly, with stops at The Gum Wall, waterfront, and Pioneer Square.
