Call Directions Website

Christians Concerned for the Community CCC focuses on serving, assisting, and empowering the poor, elderly, and disabled in crisis. PLEASE do not randomly leave items on the porch or in the yard.

Household Donations
Please note that CCC office has limited storage space and a small staff to sort through donated items and then donate items somewhere else that our neighbors are unable to use. So that we can best use staffing hours most efficiently, we request that potential donors first contact the office at 352-358-1768. Needs:
- silverware
- dinner plates, and especially bowls
- larger drinking glasses (not juice size)
- sharp kitchen utility knives
- pots and pans with matching lids
- plastic storage with matching lids
- general kitchen items, i.e. can openers, graters, spatulas, spoons, vegetable peelers
- electric appliances: hand mixer, blender, coffee maker (not Keurig style),
toasters, toaster ovens, microwaves
- bath and hand towels, kitchen towels
- shower curtains
- twin, full, queen size sheet sets
- twin, full, queen size blankets and comforters
- room fans and heaters

In order to preserve the dignity of those we serve, PLEASE make sure these items are clean and in good working order. We are unable to wash donated items. Again, we have limited storage space. Most neighbors request basic household items. If at all possible, please generally notate the contents of boxes and/or bags. Thank you for helping neighbors in need that reside in our community!

🏡 HELP US RESTOCK OUR HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS!

We're running low on several household items and could use your help!

Our current needs include:
🧺 Hand and bath towels & washcloths
🛏️ Full and queen sheet sets
🧸 Full and queen comforters & blankets
🥛 16 oz drinking glasses

We welcome gently used items that are clean and free of stains. Every donation helps us better serve our community! Help our neighbors and families in crisis by donating furniture and basic household goods in good condition.

Contact our office (352-358-1768 or [email protected]). With a 2 weeks notice we can arrange pick up from your home or business. Sometimes we can get items sooner but we can’t guarantee that.

Thank you for being part of the CCC community and helping us meet these needs. ❤️

Hello, friends! To start, We Need A Truck!! Let us know any leads for discounts or donations for a reliable truck (email [email protected]).
In this newsletter, we’re thrilled to share how we are bringing hope through our services (delivery, projects, and more) with love to families in need. Also read about Will's experience as the Home Delivery Coordinator in the letter for this update.

Hello from CCC! This is a photo of our volunteer strapping up a new oven that will be going out to a neighbor!

This work would not be possible without the community of Gainesville. Thank you to everyone that supports CCC in various ways!

If you know anyone that would donate bigger household appliances, the CCC would be delighted to look and see if it could be of use!

CCC has completed an urgent stair repair request yesterday! It is a pleasure to serve our neighbors as a display of God's love.

Thank you to one of our newly formed volunteer crews who will be doing Home Project work during the week! Richard and Mark (and Richard) are great volunteers who will be helping to lead projects as we are expanding our operations at CCC.

Pray for continued growth and effectiveness as we show love through service to our neighbors in need.

CCC has completed another (difficult!) ramp for a neighbor in need!
Ms. T is very grateful for the hard work of the crew from Trinity United Methodist Church - Gainesville, FL and the help of Rebuilding Together North Central Florida to help make this project happen!

Please pray that our work can continue to expand, and consider following the work we do, or being a part of it by becoming a partner in support or volunteering!

It is a blessing that we can partner and work with many groups and churches to show God's love to our neighbors in service by providing core needs like ramps to ensure safe homes. Thank you to everyone who is involved!
