Hey all. Unfortunately, the TV we have been using at the Pride Center for Movie Night (as well as a couple of other functions) has died a couple of months ago. We have been using various borrowed TVs for movie nights. However, as much as we appreciated those loaners, we are not able to get them any longer.

We are, therefore, asking the public to help chip in to but a new TV for the Pride Community Center. We already have a couple hundred bucks in donations designated for a new TV.

Here is how you can help:
Go to the Pride Community Center website at http://gainesvillepride.org/

Click the Donate button at the top of the page. This will take you to our PayPal donation page where you can donate to help with this cause. Be sure to enter in the note field that you wish the money you donate to go to the TV Fund.

In addition, to make sure the note gets thru, email the director at [email protected] to let him know you made a donation to the TV Fund.

We would like to raise at least $1200 for a decent sized TV and the wall-mounting hardware.

Thanks for any help you can give us to keep these programs in place.

Tying the Knot:The Union That's Dividing America: Extremely relevant, highly entertaining and utterly humanist, the critically-acclaimed film festival favorite Tying the Knot
poignantly explores one of today's hottest issues, the ferocious
political battle in the US between gay people who want to marry and
those determined to stop them. Passionately directed by Jim de Seve,
Tying the Knot is an eye-opening examination of marriage, featuring
amazing footage of gay hippies storming the Manhattan marriage bureau in
1971, plus inspire interviews with gay activists and right-wing
politicos.
