Tuesday night ,December 16th , Hot Club de Ville will be playing at Public and General Restaurant at 1000 NE 16th Avenue. We will be subbing for our friend Howard Wapner.
Marty Liquori and Rick Spence on guitars and Gary Christensen on upright bass outdoors from 6 to 9. We hope you are already familiar with this hidden gem .

Thursday night November 13,2025 Hot Club de Ville will return to the Harn Museum on the UF campus for Art after Dark celebrating the French Moderns exhibit.Marty Liquori and Rick Spence on guitars , Damiano Angoli on accordion and Gary Christensen on Double bass will play in the style of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France.
Cest si Bon, J’Attendre, Seul Si Soir, Under Paris Skies, and more French Songs will transport you to Paris for a few hours. Come and Wine down .

For 17 years there was a wonderful jazz scene at Leonardo’s 706 . Covid ended that as the owners decided to retire. For one night we will try to bring that vibe back at Sweetwater Inn. On October 18th , 2025 Sweetwater has partnered with longtime Leonardo’s chef Danny to bring back the taste of Leonardo’s with the music of Marty Liquori and The Hot Club de Ville. You can make reservations on eventbrite or call Sweetwater at 352 373-6760. The event will be outdoors in the lovely gardens.

Wednesday night (June 4th) Hot Club de Ville will play at One Love Cafe in Gainesville from 6 to 9. For this final performance until the fall ,HCDV will be joined by vocalist Patti Markoch . Marty Liquori and Rick Spence on guitars and Gary Christensen on upright bass will perform some of Django Reinhardt’s classic songs as well as American standards in the gypsy jazz style.

Wednesday night (January 29,2025) I’ll be joined by my longtime band mates at One Love Cafe from 6 to 9PM. Ben Champion on sax , Vic Donnell on keys and Clyde Connor on drums are The Marty Liquori Jazztet. Since the covid closing of Leonardo’s where the jazztet played weekly for decades our appearances have been sporadic. One Love Cafe is the place that we like playing and you like patronizing so we’ll see you there.

Marty and Rick Spence on guitars will be joined by Damiano Angoli on accordion and Gary Christensen on upright bass. With the unfortunate closing of Top Hog this may be the only Appearance of the HCDV for a few months. It should be a beautiful night .

It’s nearly fall here in Gainesville so it’s time to start gigging.
Saturday August 24 th Hot Club de Ville plays at a new venue . Top Hog Blues and Barbecue
opened a new location in the Oaks Mall in April. top-hog.com . They have been in Newberry since 2018 and this is their second location which has a stage , a bar and great acoustics. Everyone I have spoken to has been impressed with the food and service.
We are also scheduled to play there October 25 th and December 6th. Music starts at 6.

Hot Club will also be playing at One Love Cafe on Wednesday September 4 th.
Music from 6 to 9. We’ll be joined by accordionist Damiano Angoli along with Rick Spence and Marty Liquori on guitar and Gary Christensen on double bass. Onelovecafegainesville.com

September 27th,November 24 th and December 13 th The Hot Club will join vocalist Patti Markoch at Baby J’s Jazz club in downtown Gainesville.

Tonight, Wednesday May 22 ,the Marty Liquori Jazztet with Ben Champion on sax plays at One Love Cafe in Gainesville . This one night stand is the reuionion of the band that played at Leonardo’s weekly for over a decade.As many of you know Leonardo’s closed during the pandemic after 40 years in business.Ben and I are looking forward to playing once again with Vic Donnell on keys and Dave Marsh on drums as well as seeing some of the Leonardo’s regulars.We play 6 to 9 PM. One Love is in Magnolia Park on 39th avenue .No reservations are necessary because the place is huge with plenty of parking.
