Looking forward to 2021. This is a big shout to all my sisters and brothers looking to build a better life for the black community in Gainesville and other communities. In 2020, we witnessed the power of black people, white people, Asians, Latinos and indigenous people coming together as one voice to affect politics in Washington DC. We can also do it on a local level. In 2021, let’s continue to explore ways we get lift each other up through available programs, especially the great non-profit groups looking to help each other out. Together we are powerful
