Tailgate 2012 ~ Kickoff to a Cure, in its 7th year, will combine two of Gainesville’s favorite pastimes: food and football. With various companies, restaurants and families, the Saturday fun will offer guests the opportunity to tailgate with foods from local restaurants while cheering on the Florida Gators. The Florida Gators will provide the entertainment from the Vanderbilt game via TVs in Touch

down Terrace. During the first half, many of the area’s favorite restaurants will entice football fans with an indoor tailgate of signature fare. While our team is strategizing during halftime, the fans will bid on fabulous live auction prizes. A silent auction of artwork, sports memorabilia and great getaways will run throughout the day. The day will wind down with marvelous desserts and, hopefully, a big Gators’ win!
