A community where motherhood and education can thrive together. Gianna’s Place is a nonprofit in Gainesville dedicated to supporting student mothers as they work toward their educational goals. We provide safe housing, daily meals, academic advocacy, baby essentials, life skills support and a caring community. Our program serves first time mothers who are eighteen or older and currently enrolled i

n any post secondary program including college, trade school, community college and vocational programs. At Gianna’s Place we believe no woman should have to choose between her education and her baby. We are here to empower each mother to grow with confidence and pursue a strong, independent future.

Gainesville, it’s time to show up for student moms.

Gianna’s Place is officially a full house! 🏠

Our home is currently filled with student mothers and their babies, and that means now, more than ever, we need our community behind them.

Our residents are working toward degrees and careers at schools like the University of Florida and Santa Fe College while preparing for motherhood. They’re balancing classes, exams, appointments, babies, and everything in between.

And they shouldn’t have to do it alone.

That’s why we’re inviting Gainesville to take every step with them at:

A summer throwback to a night we’re so grateful for. 💜🎱

Celebrity Bingo Night was such a fun evening, but more than anything, it was a reminder of what can happen when our community comes together behind a shared mission.

Thank you to our Premier Sponsor, Merrill Lynch, Davis, Westerburg & Associates, for helping make this night possible, and to all of the businesses and individuals who donated prizes and supported the event.

We’re especially grateful to our celebrity callers Kristin Chase, Betsy Pepine, and Jeff Cardozo, Chanda Stebbins for stepping in, our emcee Tom Collett, and Mary Ryngaert, our Bingo Committee Chair, who put so much time and energy into making the night happen.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came, played, laughed, cheered, and supported Gianna’s Place. Your support helps us continue providing a home and support for pregnant student moms as they pursue their education and prepare for their babies.

We’re carrying that gratitude with us into the rest of the year. We have some new fundraising opportunities coming this November, and we’ll be sharing more about next year’s Celebrity Bingo Night soon!

We officially have a baby in the house! 🍼

We are so grateful to welcome the first baby to ever live at Gianna’s Place. What a full-circle moment.

Gianna’s Place started with an idea our founder believed in, and now, we’re watching that vision become a reality. From finding our home, to welcoming our first resident, to now having two residents and a baby, and soon a completely full house.

It’s pretty amazing to see.

We’re especially grateful for the community that has supported Gianna’s Place from the very beginning, believed in the vision, and helped us get to this point. Donations made in those early days are now being put to use as we care for our first mom and baby.

And with classes starting this week, we’re excited for all that this new season will bring.

Thank you for helping make this possible. We’re so grateful to have you with us as Gianna’s Place continues to grow.

A little extra space means a whole lot more room for what’s ahead. 💙

We are incredibly grateful to UF Mover Guys & Storage for generously donating storage space to Gianna’s Place! Your generosity is helping us make room as our household continues to grow.

And speaking of growing… we have some exciting things happening at Gianna’s Place. 👀 We’re preparing to welcome new residents into our home!

Our community has already surrounded our newest mom and her baby with so much love and generosity. From diapers and baby essentials to the countless donations that have helped prepare for this sweet new arrival, we are continually reminded of what can happen when a community comes together.

Now, thanks to UF Mover Guys & Storage, we have the space we need to continue expanding our household and preparing for the young women and babies who will call Gianna’s Place home.

Thank you, UF Mover Guys & Storage, for investing in our mission and helping us make room for more moms, more babies, and more bright futures.

We are so grateful for a community that keeps showing up. 💙

Thank you to our amazing community for donating this stroller for one of our residents and her sweet baby boy. Every act of generosity helps ease the transition into motherhood and reminds our moms that they have an entire community cheering them on.

Mom and baby are both doing great, and we are soaking in the joy of celebrating this beautiful new beginning.

We also have a feeling this stroller won’t be the last one we’ll need… 👀 Our house may be filling up again soon, and we can’t wait to welcome incredible student moms. Stay tuned! ✨💜

Welcome to the world, sweet baby boy.

This little pair of feet represents so much more than a new beginning. They tell a story of courage, perseverance, hope, and a mother’s unwavering determination.

We are so incredibly proud of our resident as she begins this new chapter of motherhood. Watching her prepare, grow, and now finally hold her precious son has been an honor.

To everyone who has prayed, donated, volunteered, and supported her along the way, thank you. Your kindness has surrounded this family with love from the very beginning and reminded them they are never alone.

Please join us in celebrating the safe arrival of this precious little one and keeping this sweet family in your prayers as they embrace all the joys and adventures of these first days together. Welcome to the Gianna’s Place family, little one.

We are incredibly grateful to One More Child for their generous donation of diapers to Gianna’s Place. Just this past Sunday, one of our residents welcomed her beautiful baby into the world, making this gift an answer to prayer.
