A community where motherhood and education can thrive together. Gianna’s Place is a nonprofit in Gainesville dedicated to supporting student mothers as they work toward their educational goals. We provide safe housing, daily meals, academic advocacy, baby essentials, life skills support and a caring community. Our program serves first time mothers who are eighteen or older and currently enrolled i

n any post secondary program including college, trade school, community college and vocational programs. At Gianna’s Place we believe no woman should have to choose between her education and her baby. We are here to empower each mother to grow with confidence and pursue a strong, independent future.

Some of life’s sweetest moments happen around the dinner table: sharing a meal, laughter, encouragement, and simply being together. As we gather with one of our residents and reflect on this special season of anticipation, our hearts are full of gratitude.

Her little boy is due in July, and it’s such a beautiful reminder of why community matters. At Gianna’s Place, we strive to create more than just a home; we cultivate a family of support where young mothers are seen, celebrated, and empowered as they pursue both motherhood and their educational goals.

These are the moments we’ll cherish: the conversations, the shared meals, the excitement of waiting for a new life to arrive. Thank you to everyone who makes Gianna’s Place possible and helps ensure that no mother has to walk this journey alone.

As we eagerly await this precious baby’s arrival, we’re reminded that hope grows strongest when it’s nurtured by love and community.
