We had an amazing time presenting this morning at the Special Olympics Florida Youth Summit at UCF! In which we had the pleasure of representing one of the many Unified Champion School College Programs in Florida to focus on leadership and promoting inclusion at the college level.

We discussed the work that goes behind the programs/activities that our club helps produce and about some of the difficulties that we may have to overcome as a college organization. We hoped to encourage individuals interested in continuing their passion for Special Olympics to pursue opportunities after they transition out of high school.

Our current mood because tonight is going to be so much fun!!!!⚽️🏆🍦 YOU should join us!!!!

Come to Southwest Rec Fields at 6pm to cheer on our teams in the intramural soccer finals and join us for a sweet treat afterwards at Jeremiah’s to celebrate and support Special Olympics!!!

If you can’t make it to the game, still go to Jeremiah’s in Butler Plaza anytime between 6pm-10pm and mention “Special Olympics” while ordering to support our fundraiser!!!

🎾Athletes will compete in the Area 3 Tennis & Bocce Competition on Saturday, March 1 at Westside Park, 1001 NW 34th St., Gainesville, FL 32605. Volunteers are needed from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

🏀Athletes will compete in the Area 3 & 4 Basketball Competition on Saturday, March 8 at Legacy Park, 15400 Peggy Rd, Alachua, FL 32615. Volunteers are needed from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
