Brady Dixon, 17, of Alachua, was identified after an anonymous tip was submitted to Crime Stoppers of North Central Florida Inc. following Alachua Police Departmentโs previous social media post asking the public to help us identify him. An arrest warrant was obtained, and Dixon was arrested today and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

Thanks to our community, the Alachua Police Department has identified the suspect involved in the burglary and criminal mischief investigation at One 51 Place Apartments.
Brady Dixon, 17, of Alachua, was identified after an anonymous tip was submitted to Crime Stoppers of North Central Florida Inc. following our previous social media post asking the public to help us identify him. An arrest warrant was obtained, and Dixon was arrested today and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
On May 26, 2026, at approximately 5:14 a.m., Dixon, who is not a resident of One 51 Place Apartments, entered the clubhouse/gym area through an emergency exit door located on the rear side of the gym. Dixon caused extensive damage after a bathroom vanity was ripped from the wall, resulting in major flooding throughout the gym, clubhouse area, and basketball court. Damages are currently estimated at around $60,000.
Dixon has been charged with:
ยท Burglary of a Structure Causing Damage in Excess of $1,000
ยท Criminal Mischief Causing Damage of $1,000 or More
