Thank you Children's Trust of Alachua County for your investment in summer programming in Alachua county. Your investment creates access to summers filled with opportunities for local kids.

Many more Florida parents want their children in a structured summer program than are able to enroll them, according to a household survey released today. The Summer Struggle for Florida Families finds that the parents of 155,0599 Florida children want summer programs for them, but just 795,054 Florida children are enrolled.

families want a summer full of opportunity for their kids — full of fun and engaging activities, opportunities to connect with other kids, and time to be active, outdoors, and off screens. Yet too many young people are missing out on the summer programs that can provide just that.
