Remembering Dolly

The world lost an extraordinary musician, songwriter, performer, philanthropist, and truly one-of-a-kind human being.

Dolly’s music crossed generations and genres, bringing people together through songs that made us laugh, cry, sing along, and remember the people and places we love. From Jolene and 9 to 5 to I Will Always Love You, her music became part of the soundtrack of our lives.

But Dolly’s legacy goes far beyond the music. Her kindness, generosity, humor, and commitment to helping others showed us that a great artist can leave the world better than they found it.

For those of us who make music, Dolly reminds us of something important: music has the power to bring people together.

Today, we tip our hats, raise our instruments, and say thank you.

Rest peacefully, Dolly.
We will always love you. ❤️🎶

April R. Zink; August 25th 1966- April 27th 2026
There are individuals whose strength of character remains unwavering, regardless of the challenges they face. They accept life’s trials without complaint and move forward with quiet resilience and dignity. April was one such person.

For several years, she courageously faced cancer and even while undergoing treatment, she remained devoted to her music. She continued to practice and to play her trumpet, demonstrating remarkable determination and grace. Her perseverance and spirit were a profound source of inspiration to all who knew her.

April will be deeply missed. She will be remembered for her warm, radiant smile, her unique charm and her gentle playful nature. Her presence touched many lives and her memory will endure with great affection and respect.
