IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT NOTICIAS WUFT:
Hola, Todos--
Welcome back to campus! Most of you likely already saw the announcement on social media or MyCJC, but if you or anyone you know are interested in joining the Noticias WUFT team this fall, please plan to come to our first class meeting this Monday, Aug. 25, 9:35-10:25 in Weimer 1074. If interested, please come to our first class meeting, and qualifications will be assessed later. Please encourage friends to join this student-initiated endeavor that serves our growing Latino community of North Central Florida, as well as prepares students with valuable, marketable bilingual newsgathering skills. Noticias alumni make up an exclusive and impressive crowd, serving or interning at companies including Univision, Univision Deportes, Telemundo, CNN en Español, ESPN, ESPN Deportes, Sony
Pictures, and The Nielsen Company, and they are in demand.
