Our mission is to provide grants that enhance the lives of animals and promote the well-being of the communities that care for them in honor of Tara (Tabbert) Sturgis. On June 23, 2012, Tara (Tabbert) Sturgis, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident. Tara was a compassionate and dedicated individual that left a lasting impression on both animals and
anyone that knew her. is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Tara Sturgis by supporting and uplifting animal welfare organizations in Michigan. Our mission is to provide grants that enhance the lives of animals and promote the well-being of the communities that care for them. Through fundraising efforts and the generous support of donors, we are building a sustainable fund that will continue to give back annually, ensuring a lasting impact on animal welfare for years to come.
