Ty Lindsay Summer Academy is made possible through a partnership between KNOW(2), The Classic Society, and Cherokee County School District. We come together with one goal: to give students the support, encouragement, and learning experiences they deserve.

If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something that truly lifts up local kids, this is a great place to jump in.

Want to support? Send us a message.

Come join us and 40 other vendors this Saturday at the CHAD! We will be donating some FoodShare boxes as well.

Middle school can be a tough season. Kids are figuring out who they are, what they’re good at, and where they fit. And the right support during this time can change everything.

That’s why Ty Lindsay Summer Academy matters.

This summer experience brings together about 25 middle school students for enrichment, caring role models and mentors, and academic support heading into the next school year.

If you’d like to help a student thrive this summer, you can give or step in as a mentor.

Giving back doesn’t just make a difference for others, it changes us, too.

When we show up for our community, we often feel more connected, less alone, and more grounded in what really matters. It’s a powerful way to feel part of something bigger than ourselves.

Whether you volunteer, support a local program, or simply share resources with a neighbor, every act of generosity adds up.

Want a little peek at what a day at Ty Lindsay Summer Academy can look like?

It’s a week built on purpose with things like:

▪️Learning time
▪️Leadership moments with guest speakers
▪️Field trips that open up new ideas
▪️Community service that helps students feel proud of what they can give back

For a lot of kids, this is where they start to see a bigger future for themselves.
