On October 9th, the Cherokee Recreation District held a Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the Midway TRACK Trail. In partnership with the Kids In Parks and Live Healthy Cherokee the Midway Walking Track has officially become a TRACK Trail. With new signage, new pavement, and eight different stations to walk around the loop to – kids and families can run, walk, and exercises like an “animal athlete” while learning new things in the process. It’s a great addition to the area for this community hub full of life with the playground, splashpad, and now revamped trail. It’s the start and continuation of great things.
