Getting my 5K done at the commemoration of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in Greensboro. I placed my order, now I'm knocking it out. A few weeks ago, your Historian visited the America 250 Lenoir County Revolutionary War exhibit at the Kinston Visitors Center. In conjunction with the exhibit was a book talk and signing for my cousin's new book about the retaliatory raids in the Dobbs/Jones/Craven County areas conducted by the British under Major James Craig. The cover art depicts the burning of Brig Gen Wiliam Brayan's home. He was my 5th great granduncle.

Before our day ended, Regent Speight and Historian Dale took Vice Regent Reynolds to see the Ben Long Frescoes at St Paul's Episcopal Church in Wilkesboro. We walked the labyrinth, too. Afterwards we took her to Robert Cleveland's grave and up to Rendezvous Mountain. It was about to close, so no time for photos to finish the rounds. ,
