Cherokee County 4-H 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

South Carolina 4-H uses a learn-by-doing approach, the involvement of caring adults, and the knowledge and resources of Clemson University. Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service offers its programs to people of all ages, regardless of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or family status and is an equal opportunity employer. The 2027 SC 4-H Engineering Challenge will take place on February 10, 2027, at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. Youth ages 9–18 can choose from eight challenge areas, and youth ages 5–8 are invited to take part in the Visual Arts Challenge. The event will also feature a free, interactive STEAM Expo open to all ages!

It's Thankful Thursday! As we celebrate National 4-H Week we have so many people to thank. Without our wonderful volunteers, 4-H'ers, judges, state staff, neighboring agents, parents, and community partners, our Cherokee 4-H program would not be possible. I wish we had pictures of all of you but here are just a few of the people who help make it happen. 🍀
