Kaitlin Calloway is a 2026 Gadsden City High School graduate. She maintained all As this school year while completing AP Classes as well as completing dual enrollment courses at Gadsden State which afforded the opportunity to have already receive some college credits as she officially goes off to college. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, Key Club, Spanish Club, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Youth in Government, City of Gadsden Youth Council, Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium, Black Girl Smile, National Honor Society- President, Spanish National Honors Society- Vice President, Beta Club-Historian, City of Gadsden Youth Council- President, Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium- Youth Ambassador for the State of Alabama, Black Girl Smile Representative, Youth in Government Day- City Council President, Marching Titan Band- Saxophone Section Leader, Symphonic Band- Principal oboist, and has contributed numerograus hours after school as a member of the Varsity Titan Girls Soccer Undefeated Area Champs. She served as the President of Legacy Club Gadsden Chapter. She was recognized as a Gadsden City Highest Honors Graduate and a part of Gadsden City High School's Top 10%.
Through the various organizations, she completed various other community service projects which afforded her multiple opportunities to give back to the community as well as work with all of the feeder schools for Gadsden City High School in addition to her community service with Legacy. Those projects included things such as Volunteering for Kiwanis Pancake Day, preparing Firefighter Care Baskets, Pet Food Drive for the Humane Society, Egg my Yard projects, Tutoring children in math in the afterschool program, preparing CareBaskets for Teacher Appreclation for Beta Club and National Honor Society, hosting St. Jude Wristband Donation Drive, hosting the Etowah County Community Food Bank Drive, serving as a Santa Helper for National Honor Society, participating in Toy Drive for National Honors Society, Toy Drive for Beta Club, Helping with Special Olympics, Organizer for Windy Van Hooten at Floyd and Adams Elementary, Organizer for Hooten Holler, assisting with Hispanic Talent Show for Spanish National Honor Society, volunteering with Thanksgiving Food Drive, ACAP Pep Rallies for Elementary Schools, Red Ribbon Week Volunteer at Donehoo Elementary and serving as a Read Across America Volunteer
