It’s 1930…. And the Baldwin Locomotive works has just built the biggest and most powerful locomotive of its kind for the Santa Fe railroad. Nicknamed the ‘Madam Queen’, she would log over 1,750,000 miles before her retirement. She is seen here on her way to Texas.
This was the best of the best! 😁🇺🇸

Listen to this engineer and fireman working together to accelerate 80” drivers on a hot passenger train.
See more action like this at our OCT 3rd Fall show! 😁🇺🇸

We are about 1 month away from our annual Fall train show! This year we have 100, (Yes 100!!) dealer tables! Our HO layout will be fully operational with at least 6 trains running throughout the show. Our N scale layout will have all 3 lines operating. The Free-Mo group will have a fully functioning modular layout upstairs running several trains over their ever expanding and detailed modules.

Another area we’ve worked hard on was the area formally used for the fair scene. The fair was never finished, always looked toy like, and the rides never worked.
This time, we took it back to the wooded field look before it was all leveled and the parking lot behind the Pitman was extended. 😁🇺🇸
