The Council on Aging regrets to announce that due to cuts in our funding we will be closing the GGHA outreach office in 2026. Please follow our main page, The Council on Aging of Etowah County, for information on our community events and activities.

The outreach office will be closed until January due to Medicare Open Enrollment. All appointments will be held at our main office in the Gadsden Senior Wellness Center. To schedule an appointment, please call 256-492-0230 between 10:00 and 2:00 M-F.

The outreach office will be closed Thursday, August 7th so we can set up for our Speakeasy Casino Night fundraiser on August 8th. Our next meeting will be August 12th at 1:00 p.m. We will be having a Luau party with food, games, and prizes!
