Gadsden Dreamcatchers is currently working with a hospice to raise money for a last celebration for a girl named Cailey Holiday. Our goal is to raise $500 to help fund a watch party for her because she LOVES soccer. Below I have a little bit about Cailey from her mother. We are taking donations in any way you can give them and anything helps!
“Cailey has been battling cancer since she was six months old. At a year old we got news she was cancer free and she went on to have a normal childhood with soccer being her biggest passion. Then at the age of 10 she was diagnosed with leukemia. Fast foward to a bone marrow transplant and both hips being replaced, both knees being replaced, a mastectomy, and a hysterectomy all due to different cancers and their treatments. She did it all with grace and strength and most of all faith. Today she has a brain tumor as well as leiomyosarcoma which is not curable. She has decided after around of chemo which resulted in a stroke that she will live the rest of her life off of treatment. She is enjoying every minute and her faith is strong. She is an inspiration to me. She is 23 and a wonderful young woman.”
