Update - We have hit $7k! Thank you all so much for your willingness to make a difference! I have a few checks to pick up tomorrow, and then I will deliver a check from neighborhood bridges to the funeral home. A family in the Sardis community is facing the unexpected loss of a loved one and needs help covering funeral expenses. The remaining balance owed to the funeral home is approximately $7,000.
We know this is a significant need, but every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden on this family during an incredibly difficult time. If you’re able to give or share this post, your support would be deeply appreciated.

Needs are shared locally: Requests are emailed to our community of subscribers.

Barriers are removed: Students and families get what they need—right when it matters.
