2nd Florida Volunteers, Company E A non-profit living history unit located in Florida portraying the 2nd in the War Between the States. We invite you to join our group.

We are a living history group passionately dedicated to portraying Company E of the 2nd Florida Volunteer Infantry during the War Between the States which lasted from 1861 to 1865. Our ranks are filled with living historians from around the State of Florida who portray both military and civilian personas, each having a passion for history covering a broad array of topics. We encourage all members to not only learn the history of the 2nd and of the War Between the States, but also to assist in educating the public through interaction at living history events and through other outlets. We are a family based unit who strive for authenticity and detail out of respect for those soldiers and civilians, both North and South, who gave their 'last full measure of devotion' to the country and cause in which they believed. We are a non-profit educational corporation based out of Orlando, Florida and routinely participate in re-enacting events in Florida as well as selected events throughout the Southeastern USA. We do not discriminate as to color, creed, ethnicity, religion or gender and will not accept those into our ranks who do. Please contact Captain Adam Bocken at [email protected], Sgt. Michael Bartholomew at [email protected] or message here on Facebook for more information on becoming a part of Company E, The 2nd Florida Volunteers!

Our Corporal McNally made the trip to the Battle of Franklin with our friends in the 17th Connecticut Company H this past weekend. I hear it was wet, it was muddy, but it was amazing! Looks like young Daniel stepped right out of Red Badge of Courage!!!
