Just a little update because so many of you have asked and have truly been so supportive and helpful.
The sheriff’s department has made contact with two of the women in the video, Tina Edgar and Wanda Mason. The other woman in the video that actually took the bags out of the bin, Mary Beth Bates chose not to answer the door when the investigator went to speak with her yesterday.
No arrests as of yet and I can’t tell all the details, but the investigator is doing everything he can to work this case. I’m just trying to be patient.

We have names of the thieves and have spoke to Fyffe Police Department. Stay tuned!!!

Anybody recognize these women or their vehicle? This was at 1:39am on Saturday, September 19, 2026. They seem to think it’s okay to steal from children. More videos and pics in comments.

If you’re the women that were driving the older model, white Nissan Pathfinder that just, at 1:39am, stole a bag out of my donation bin. You are on camera. The one that actually reached in and took the bag out, you, actually read the sign OUT LOUD to your friends. You know, the sign that said “ Everything in the bin is property of GHFC, so if you take anything from it, YOU ARE STEALING!!!” I guess that sign or the sign that said “WARNING! Surveillance cameras in use” just wasn’t enough to keep you from stealing from children!!!
Shame on you!!
That’s fine though. I’ll let the police and the Lord deal with you.

A police report will be made first thing in the morning. I hope whatever you got was worth it.

There were 4-30 gallon black garbage bags full of BRAND NEW toys that was part of what was stolen out of my donation bin sometime between Monday evening and Wednesday morning. These toys were for Christmas for the kids that we serve. Whoever took them didn’t just steal from me, they stole from those kids and that is about as low as you can get. I do have a pic of one of the items that I’m including in this post. It’s from Build a Bear and is very large. It was brand new and still in the original packaging. It’s kinda unique so if anyone sees anything like this, please let me know.
I may not be able to catch them this time, but I’m going to make sure if they do it again, there will be consequences. PLEASE SHARE!!!

I know I just made a post about this a couple of months ago, but evidently people still think our donation bin is a dumpster and now think everything in it is free for the taking.

Just so everyone knows….what is in, on or beside the donation bin is property of GATHERING HOPE FOSTER CLOSET. It is NOT free for whoever wants it. It is for the kids that we serve. Dumping trash in our bin has been going on for a long while now and I feel like I have been more than patient and not made a huge deal of it but now with the stealing I AM DONE! I am sick and tired of it. My mom and I run this foster closet with ZERO pay and we work hard to sort and organize everything and make sure we have what these kids need. But, having to sort through junk and garbage just to get to our donations is ridiculous. As bad as I hate to spend the money on it, I feel like a security camera is now a necessity. There will also be signs put up on what is not acceptable to put in the bin. If this problem continues to happen, I will have no other choice than press charges.
To our donors, thank you for your continued support! We literally couldn’t do this without the help from our community.
