Tomorrow is our Glow Foundation Serve Event! We will be serving 30 Ladies for their annual Gala! Hair Stylists and Makeup Artists will have the opportunity to share their gifts and talents! We will begin at 8 AM and finish by 1 PM. If you are able to serve any time during those hours it would be incredibly appreciated! We will have snacks, drinks, hair and makeup supplies! We just need your talent and support. 💛🩷

The Glow Foundation will need hairdressers and make up artist on Saturday December 6th from 8 AM until 1 PM. The volunteers will need to be at the Dekalb County Technology Center in the Cosmetology Program Facility, they have graciously provided their workplace facility for the ladies two have their red carpet experience as they get ready for their big night. RainsvilleAL35986. If you could come from eight until one that would be great, but if you could only show up for one or two hours, that would help us tremendously. Mrs. Nickie Holcomb Wilks fractured her spine a couple of weeks ago and is unable to physically help other than with funding. Christie Chandler Collins , . Megan Garner ( who is actually working Mrs. Nickie‘s lengthy leave from work as she heals her spine injury) Christie and Megan will be stepping into the leadership roles of delegating hair and makeup. There will be plenty of make up, eyelash strips, styling products, and anything else you can think of to make the ladies inner beauty that God has developed on the inside of
these ladies hearts glow radiantly outwardly that night at their big event. There will be food provided throughout the morning and lunch for the workers and the ladies who are getting pampered. If you have ever taken time to give your gifts and talents willingly to others, I can assure you that you will be blessed more than anyone whose hair or make up you are styling for them. I learned a long time ago that you will always reap what you sow. When you give freely of your gifts, talents and finances into His kingdom, you cannot out give his blessings to you, your family, and the plans and future he has for your lives. Please consider donating your time and talent to help us prepare 30 ladies for one of the most life changing and proud moments of their lives as they stand before their peers, friends, and family to be recognized for all the work God has done in their lives.

The Glow Foundation was so blessed  to serve the ladies The Father's House yesterday! We had an unreal amount of make up artist, hairstylist, and most of them were students of the DeKalb County Technology Center. They donated their talent in time and were able to get close to 30 women glam up and ready for their banquet that evening! We had several young people students as well as family and friends volunteer their time at the banquet to serve the meals as well as  help clean up The Barn at Blue Pond venue last night.
Thank you to Dekalb County Technology Center  for allowing us to use the cosmetology and barbering facility from 8 to 2 yesterday, we are grateful to The Barn at Blue Pond for providing the venue for such an amazing Banquet. We just want to thank anyone who helped in any area. Serve the ladies at The Father‘s House. We had restaurants that discounted and donated food for the volunteers throughout the day, we also had three of the most delicious homemade desserts brought to the salon, and it was delicious! Lastly, we could not have served these ladies without so many of you who donated money to fund hair and makeup supplies, the food, including the dinner served at the banquet, your generosity was outstanding this year! We thank you each one of you from the bottom of our hearts for everowho had a part in making yesterday such a successful and beautiful day from 8 AM until 9 PM

We would love to have volunteers willing to invest in this Serve Event. If you are a hairstylist or a makeup artist, please consider helping us glam up 30 ladies for their annual banquet on Saturday, December 7th. We will be working from 8 AM until 2 PM. Even if you can come for only a couple of hours, that would be wonderful! We will need lots of hands on deck. We will also provide food for everyone as well as the supplies needed for hairstyles and make up. You may want to bring your favorite hot tool, but we will have curling irons and blow dryers available.

DeKalb County Technology Center has offered to let us use our DCTC Cosmetology department to do the hair and make up on our Saturday December 2nd for our GLOW serve event for our precious ladies from The Father’s House!That was very generous of them, and it will be much easier having the stations, chairs, and lots of blow dryers and curling irons, so we will, hold the glow foundation event there that day to get the ladies ready for their big night. This will benefit our DCTC Cosmetology students that participate as they will have an opportunity to use the skills they have mastered over the last several months and gain hours!❤️❤️❤️ We are extremely grateful!

We need your help Saturday, December 2nd!  The Glow Foundation will be hosting a Serve event to help with The Father’s House annual Banquet. There are two ways that you can help serve.
1:That morning we will be glamming up all of the ladies to help them get ready for their banquet.
2: That evening we will need help serving the meal to our guests at the banquet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated by the Glow Foundation as well as The Father’s House.
