🧸 Giving Tuesday with Radiant Shepherd

This year, we’re turning Giving Tuesday into a day of comfort and healing for children impacted by abuse and/or trafficking.

💔 Tragedy & accountability
A man in our region — identified as Brian Groo of Horsham Township — has been sentenced to 100–200 years in prison for the horrific s*xual abuse of a 10-month-old infant, filming the act, and disseminating the abuse material.

He pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges including child r**e, trafficking, and production/distribution of child s*xual abuse material.

⚠️ This case is a devastating reminder of the reality of child trafficking and exploitation in our own backyards. It underscores the urgency of the mission of Radiant Shepherd — protecting vulnerable children, bringing awareness, and supporting restoration.

🕯️ Our call to action:
– If you suspect child abuse or trafficking, report it. It takes a community to keep children safe.
– Join us in spreading awareness that exploitation is real, happening locally, and must be challenged.
– Support safe-spaces and recovery initiatives for children who have been impacted.

🌟 Protecting Our Children — Together 🌟

The Bensalem Township Police Department announced that 17 suspected child predators have been arrested so far this year through their Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigations.

These arrests include:
🔹 6 for possession or distribution of child po*******hy
🔹 5 for soliciting s*x with a minor
🔹 6 for soliciting and traveling to meet a minor

Over the past three years, 49 arrests have been made in Bensalem for unlawful contact with minors and related offenses.

Radiant Shepherd stands in gratitude and solidarity with the Bensalem Police Department, District Attorney Jennifer Schorn, and all agencies working tirelessly to protect our children from online exploitation. 💛

Parents and guardians — please stay vigilant:

💬 Talk openly about internet safety
🚨 Report any suspicious behavior immediately

We are outraged by the recent news regarding Joseph Grossman, owner of Poppy’s Peanuts, who has been charged with corruption of minors and promoting prostitution after allegations that he solicited s*xual acts from teenage employees in exchange for money or drugs.

This is a stark reminder that evil hides in plain sight — even in places once thought “safe” or “harmless.” At Radiant Shepherd, our mission is to bring light into darkness and protect the vulnerable. No child or teen should ever be prey to exploitation.

We stand with survivors, and we call on community members, law enforcement, and faith leaders to act decisively to protect the innocent. If you or someone you know has been affected, you are not alone — reach out, speak up, and let justice be served.

We’re thankful for justice served. This week, Bensalem Police arrested Eric Karch (53, Jenkintown) after he allegedly attempted to exploit what he believed was a 13-year-old girl via social media. He is now facing serious charges including unlawful contact with a minor, s*xual abuse of children, corruption of minors, and more.
