Yesterday, Golden Star Lodge proudly attended District #19 and District #20 Prince Hall Day. It was an honor to join together in celebrating and remembering the life, legacy, and tireless work of Prince Hall — a man who dedicated his life to faith, brotherhood, education, and the fight for equality.

We are grateful for the opportunity to stand united and continue the mission he began.

"How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!". Great lodge fellowship breakfast with some of the brothers yesterday at Eggs Up Grill.

A few of the brothers of Golden Star fellowshipped with Bazzel Creek Missionary Baptist Church this past Sunday. Many of our past and present members have been members of this great church. When the church was rebuilt we were requested to lay the cornerstone on the church.

Star Lodge #150 is no stranger to taking home trophies. The Grand Champions from 2017 are returning for another run at the Sterling Cup. Big thanks to Mountolive Pickles for bring a special taste of North Carolina to our delicious event.

Who doesn't love North Carolina BBQ?! 😍 The 16th annual Carolina Pig Jig kicks off this Saturday at 11 a.m., and they’ll be serving until the barbecue is gone! We dream about this event all year long…come join us by the Agri Supply Expo Center. We know it will be a highlight of your visit to the Got to Be NC Festival!

All proceeds benefit the Masonic Homes for Children in Oxford. Sounds like a win-win to us! We’ll be the ones with the extra stretchy pants on!
