🍦🐅 FVMS SPIRIT NIGHT IS THIS THURSDAY!!! 🐅🍦

Join us Thursday, September 3rd from 5:00–7:00 PM at The Scoop at Willow Oak Farms! 🧡🖤

Bring the family, grab a sweet treat, and enjoy a chance to meet and hang out with other FVMS families! 🍨

And the best part? A portion of ALL sales during our 5:00–7:00 PM Spirit Night will be donated back to FVMS PTA to help support our students, staff, and Bengal community! So simply stopping by for ice cream helps support our school! 🙌🐅

👕 We’ll also have a limited quantity of FVMS spirit wear available! Come check it out and grab some Bengal gear while supplies last!

Our campus got a little brighter today! 🌸🌼
We added some beautiful new flowers to the planters at both the front and back of the school. It’s a small touch, but we hope they bring a little extra color and a few more smiles to everyone who walks through the doors of FVMS! 🧡🐅
Projects like this are just one of the many ways your PTA uses our Campus Improvement budget to help make our school feel welcoming and cared for.
We were also proud to help commission this beautiful mural created by our very own Ms. Bubeck! 🎨 It has added so much warmth and Bengal spirit to our school.

📣 FVMS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐅🧡

One of our awesome CTE teachers needs a few parent volunteers to help with a fun, hands-on activity for our Financial Literacy students!

💰 Reality of Money gives students the opportunity to learn about budgeting and real-world financial decisions — and they need a few adults to help make the experience possible!

📅 October 13 & October 14
⏰ 1:00–3:00 PM

🙋‍♀️ At least 2 volunteers are needed each day

Volunteers must be approved WCPSS volunteers to participate.

There are SO many ways to get involved at FVMS throughout the year! Whether you’re helping with something in the classroom, volunteering at a chorus, band, or drama event, helping with athletics, or lending a hand with the PTA, you’ll need to be an approved WCPSS volunteer before volunteering around our students.

The good news? Registration only takes a minute or two! 🙌

Don’t wait until an opportunity comes up and realize you haven’t registered yet. Take a couple of minutes and get it done TODAY so you’re ready whenever you’d like to help! 🐾

🐅🧡 Can you spare about ONE HOUR to help FVMS? 🧡🐅

We’re looking for 1–2 more volunteers to join our PTA Audit Committee!

This is a great way to get involved if you want to help our school but have a 9–5 job or can’t volunteer during the school day. The committee meets in the evening, approximately once a month or every other month, for about an hour to review our PTA financial records.

It’s a small time commitment that provides an important service to our PTA! And you don’t need to be an accountant or financial expert. 😊
