✨ What an eventful week at Fuquay-Varina Toastmasters! ✨

We celebrated a special milestone as Alan stepped up as a first-time Toastmaster and led us through our thought-provoking theme: “Memento Mori: Life is short, live accordingly.” ⏳

And the celebrations continued! 🎉 Rich, Lillian, Dave, and Crystal completed levels in their Pathways journeys and received certificates and ribbons. 🏆👏

It was a wonderful reminder that every meeting is an opportunity to learn, grow, lead, and celebrate one another’s progress.

Congratulations to everyone—and a special shoutout to Alan on his first time as Toastmaster! 🎤

This week’s theme was Favorite Fall Activities, and we’re already looking ahead to something exciting! 🎭

Lillian Falciglia shared her speech about our upcoming practice speech contest, “Show Time!” 🎬✨ Mark your calendars for November 9th because this is going to be a fun one!

We’ll need contestants, judges, ushers, and more, so there are plenty of ways to get involved. Whether you’re ready to take the stage or want to help behind the scenes, come be part of the production! 🎤👏

✨ This week at Fuquay-Varina Toastmasters, our theme was “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall” with the Word of the Day: Reflection.

A special congratulations to our member Alan Stein on delivering his Icebreaker speech — the very first speech in every Toastmaster’s journey! 🎉

The Icebreaker is an opportunity for members to introduce themselves, share their stories, and help us learn more about who they are. Alan did a wonderful job stepping up to the lectern and beginning this exciting chapter in his communication and leadership journey.

We also enjoyed three inspiring speeches, thoughtful evaluations, and engaging Table Topics that challenged us to think on our feet. Every meeting is a chance to reflect, grow, and become a little more confident as speakers and leaders.

✨ What a night at Fuquay-Varina Toastmasters! 🎤🌟

This week was extra special as we celebrated Nicole Stein completing her very first Icebreaker Speech, “What I Inherited.” ❤️

Nicole did an amazing job stepping up to the podium and sharing her story with us. An Icebreaker is such an exciting milestone—it’s the beginning of finding your voice, building confidence, and connecting with fellow members through your own experiences. Congratulations, Nicole! We’re so glad you’re part of our Toastmasters family! 👏🎉

And what a meeting it was! Our Speech-a-Thon brought out a wonderful, larger-than-usual group and five fantastic speeches that gave us plenty to think about, learn from, and enjoy. 📚🎤

There’s something pretty special about a room full of people who are willing to step outside their comfort zones, cheer each other on, and keep getting 1% better every meeting. 🌟
