In 2025 alone, 10,433 people in our community improved their health and physical development using one or more of our various programs at Oswego County Opportunities, Inc.

And it’s all thanks to our supporters like you. People who help share our programs. People who help make referrals to our services. People who help drop off a friend at one of our locations. Every small action you take, leaves a lasting impact.

Help keep that impact going by considering volunteering for one of our many programs or services.

We’re excited to introduce our Get Set Program for 2026! This program is designed for children ages 3–7 and focuses on building social-emotional skills and school readiness while also supporting parents and caregivers along the way.

The Get Set Program helps children develop important everyday skills such as independence, problem solving, sharing, recognizing feelings, and learning positive ways to manage emotions. The program also works with families to strengthen routines at home, including self-care, handwashing, dressing, taking turns, and other skills that help children feel confident and ready for school.

This program is a great opportunity for families who would like extra support in helping their child grow socially, emotionally, and developmentally in a caring and encouraging environment.

For more information, or if you have any questions, please contact Karen Davies-Buckley at 315-598-3980 or [email protected]. We are happy to speak with you by phone or meet in person to talk more about the program.
