Women's Club of Fulton to Offer Annual Scholarship to Graduating Senior

The Women's Club of Fulton will be awarding a scholarship of $1600. This scholarship will be awarded to a qualified graduating senior within the Fulton City School District who is planning to enter a course of two years or less in an associate degree program, a technical vocation, or a business program.

The scholarship will be conditional, pending acceptance and matriculation of the student at his or her selected place of study.

Applications are available in the G. Ray Bodley High School Guidance Office and in the Fulton Public Library for Home-Schooled Students. The applications must be completed and returned by Friday, April 25, 2025. Those seeking further information may call Gretchen Flick, scholarship committee member, at (315) 509-4077.

The winner of the scholarship will be announced in May and will be a guest at the Fulton Women's Club's Luncheon on May 28, 2025.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

Leadership Oswego County is partnering with Citi BOCES Culinary Students for an upcoming Lasagna Love Service Project to support families with children facing food insecurity this winter. In early February, we'll be coming together to assemble and deliver delicious homemade lasagnas to help nourish local families during winter break.

A huge thank you to the Women's Club of Fulton, whose members generously donated over $100 to help make this project possible! 🙏 Your kindness will help us provide meals to those in need, and we’re so grateful for your support.

This initiative is not just about providing meals—it’s also about raising awareness for the Lasagna Love program and encouraging more individuals to join us as volunteer chefs. If you’re interested in helping, we’d love for you to sign up and be part of this amazing movement of kindness.

The Women's Club of Fulton will be awarding a scholarship of $800 a year for up to two years to a qualified graduating senior, male or female, within the Fulton City School District who is planning to enter a course of two years or less in an associate degree program, a technical vocation or a business program.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of proficiency in the chosen field and the ability to benefit from the elected course. The grant will be conditional, pending acceptance and matriculation of the student at his or her selected place of study.

Applications are available in the G. Ray Bodley High School Guidance Office and in the Fulton Public Library for Home-Schooled Students. FULTON — The Women’s Club of Fulton will hold its annual craft fair/bake sale Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Hall, 309 Buffalo St., Fulton.

Established in 1946, the object of this club shall be to promote educational, civic, and philanthropic work in the community with the emphasis on the scholarship program and to bring into relations of mutual helpfulness, the women of the city and surrounding areas.
